Most dolphin and whale species are due to prolonged marine pollution, overfishing of the oceans, fast ferries and also the ever-increasing tourism and floating ghost nets  or trawls threatened.

With a dolphin sponsorship or a donation , you can do your part to ensure that the world's endangered marine mammals are protected and researched. The income from your donations will be used to support various protection projects - such as ghost net rescue campaigns or individual research projects. In addition, education and information campaigns are sponsored that would otherwise not be financially viable.

At the WDC , for example, you can symbolically sponsor one of the four bottlenose dolphins Charlie, Rainbow, Happy or Flosse. In doing so, you are making an important contribution to the preservation of the last bottlenose dolphins in the North Sea. But no matter which project you decide on, your money is more than in good hands in all cases and you will receive information at regular intervals about what is being done with your money.

If you would like to support the marine mammals off La Gomera's coasts , you should apply for a dolphin sponsorship from MEER eV.  Your donation will then be used to better research the whales and dolphins near La Gomera in order to promote effective protective measures.
