Whale Watching with Amazonia
As a experienced fisherman, Juan, the experienced captain of Amazonia, knows the waters of La Gomera's coast like the back of his hand

What can you expect
Juan, the captain and owner of the watching boat Amazonia, is an old fisherman and knows the best whale watching spots in La Gomera like no other. Juan has been going out to sea for 10 years to watch the dolphins and with him you are more than in good hands. Anyone who goes on a whale watching tour with the Amazonia will also be spoiled with culinary delights . On every trip there is a homemade and freshly prepared (vegetarian) paella and drinks are free of charge - including chilled beer. The tours with the Amazonia last 3-4 hours and a maximum of 12 people are taken per trip. The Amazonia is a real adventure for young and old!
Since it is, unlike most other whale watching boats, a steel boat, this is stable in the water even in moving seas. So the perfect solution for those who get seasick quickly. If the weather allows it, Juan also makes a short swim stop in a small bay after the trip. The Amazonia is a real adventure and can be recommended without limitation.

Info & tips Amazonia
In the front and rear areas of the Amazonia there are comfortable seating and chill opportunities as well as a shade sail. The Amazonia also has a boat toilet - even if it is a very small one. If the weather permits, there will be a short swim stop on the way back to the port of Vueltas - what could be nicer than going for a swim and snorkeling in the crystal clear Atlantic?

Sunrise and sunset tours
When the dolphin tour is over, Juan always likes to anchor in a small and idyllic bay . There you can then go swimming in the crystal clear water. The prerequisite for this is stable weather conditions - as with all activities on La Gomera.
And good news for all of you anglers: Juan is a skilled fisherman and he always knows how to hook a tuna. You are welcome to hold the rod you have brought with you into the water during the trip - but at the latest when it is sighted, it has to be out of the water quickly ...
Our tip: ask about the regular sunrise and sunset tours . A really breathtaking experience that you will not soon forget! The providers Oceano Gomera and Pura Vida also offers sunrise and sunset tours at regular intervals - so you are spoiled for choice!
